Highest quality product, fast shipping, great communication.
One of those things you hope you never need, but in case you do, you want the best - no compromises. Installed in my GT350R Shelby, just in case.
In 2017 I bought a rare and wonderful 1914 Premier car. It’s one of only two that I’ve been able to locate. I decided then that I wanted to carry the best fire extinguisher available even though I didn’t think there would ever come a time I would need it. Turns out I was wrong.
In September this year I took the Premier on a three-day driving tour our club put on in northwest Washington. Early in our drive through the countryside, I stopped at a stop sign behind two very old Model T Fords. The first car, John’s T, was on fire! Both car owners had unintentionally left their fire extinguishers at home. As I was coming to a stop the drivers ran up to me to see if I could help. By then the burning T had fire raging under most of the chassis including under the full gas tank! The fire had made it way up thru the wooden floorboards into the driver’s compartment. I quickly reached over my seat and unclipped my 2 ½ lb Halguard HG250 extinguisher and gave it to Steve, the second T owner. By the time I was out of my car Steve had returned to the burning T and, as I watched, he squeezed the trigger. Within a few seconds the fire was completely out! To say we were all dumbfound by how fast and efficient this was would be an understatement. This has to be the best product of its class on the market.
A few minutes later we were able to push the T to the side of the road. There was no mess left by this operation except for some dark marks on the road. No residue was left on the car or the road. With some small wiring repair this T will be back on the road again soon. I’ll always be carrying this Halguard extinguisher with me when I’m driving my antique car. There’s nothing like it!
